I enjoyed the message of Pastor Nathan Simmons. I always come to listen to Bishop Derrick Hutchins who I had the privaledge of meeting during the Holy Convocation this year. Bishop Hutchins is a dynamic preacher. God Bless Him and hope to see him again at the 101 year Holy Convocation. I like starting and finishing my day listening to these ministers.

If you listen to Pastor Hutchins ( not a Bishop yet) you will hear almost the same cliches’ and catchy phrases in every sermon. I have heard him over the years and he says the same thing: Say a word suh, say a word suh, sissies hippies and freebee gypsies, its breast feeding time, me worship you, and for what?, If I were in a Baptist Church, Good God I’m enjoying my own cooking, sit down and let me mash these tatters. Just to name a few.
The real preachers don’t get the microphone. Just the dramatic theatrical loud verbose characters. Its time for some new preaching in Memphis. Lets see what happens this year.

  4. Delores, I published this post because I have received so many negative posts from you, and now I will finally address your rants. Since you are such a deep wonder, why can’t you find the ability to stop passing judgement on others? Pastor Hutchins like many other preachers uses many of the same phrases in his preaching, much like Bishop Jakes’ Get Ready,Get Ready,Get Ready of Years past, and Bishop Patterson’s Be Healed, Be Delivered and Be Set Free. Maybe the real preachers don’t get the microphone, but isn’t God in control of it all any way? Maybe no one is ready for your Delores is doing battle messages, that everyone else is in sin , but you! As for Pastor Simmons he is gone, and perhaps he is enjoying the confines of heaven, isn’t that the whole purpose of our preaching any way? He is gone, and bashing him after his death is a sign of a childish and immature Saint! Well you pushed me to that one!
