I can honestly say that I am not very religious mainly because I’m searching for the right “word”. But after I heard u tonight, I knew something was missing from my life. GOD! Wait a minute! How are you leaving out one of the LARGEST African-American Apostolic/Pentecostal organizations worldwide? The Church Of Our Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith Inc. (C.O.O.L.J.C) is in its 89th year of service to the world and somehow is CONTINUALLY overlooked. We established the position of “Chief Apostle” in 1996 with Bishop Bonner which before then was NEVER heard of. Without COOLJC, there would be no BWWW and Huie Rogers, nor would there be a Hezekiah Walker or Melvin & Tenisha Crispel. C’mon, get with it people… with close to 600 churches and half a million members, it is a force to be reckoned with.

What is with “Chief Apostle”? Even Paul was not presumptuous enough to use that one. Now men AND women are using that title without regard to clear New Testament qualifications. It seems there are more titles than people these days, and
rarely does the term “Doctor” mean that someone actually studied anything. Where is integrity? I like those in the New Testament who were simply servants of Jesus Christ. I think that evangelist and pastor are quite fine, and one does not have to be a bishop, head bishop, doctor, apostle, or chief apostle to have authority, Jesus said to call no man “teacher”, and his natural authority was the envy of those with all the robes and titles whom he excoriated regularly. Let’s get back to loving Jesus and humbling ourselves before him, not demanding kings, but worshipping THE KING.
